WHAT IS ARTRMIS???
The Artemis II is a major upcoming space mission by NASA that will send astronauts on a journey around the Moon and back to Earth, without landing.
Artemis II is the first crewed mission in NASA’s Artemis program, designed to return humans to the Moon for the first time since the Apollo missions.
It will carry four astronauts.
They will travel farther from Earth than any humans before.
The mission is a lunar flyby (they orbit the Moon, then return).

Travel for several days toward the Moon
Loop around the Moon (without landing)
Capture images and conduct observations
