Adventure lovers in Ekiti State are set for an exciting end to 2025 with the introduction of a unique urban mountain hiking, movie-in-a-cave and pool party experience, designed to blend nature, wellness, and entertainment.

The end-of-year experience will feature a guided light urban mountain hike along scenic trails, followed by a cinematic screening inside a natural cave. To wrap up the adventure, participants will unwind at a vibrant pool party, creating a full-day experience that combines exploration, relaxation, and social bonding.

VisitEkiti Ltd described the initiative as youth-centric and family-friendly, aimed at promoting eco-tourism, healthy lifestyles, and creative leisure while showcasing Ekiti State’s rich natural and recreational assets. The event is also expected to add colour to the state’s festive tourism calendar and attract adventure seekers from within and outside Ekiti.



With nature, film, wellness, and leisure coming together in one itinerary, the experience promises a refreshing and memorable way to close out the year in Ekiti State.

  Ado-Ekiti sunday morning Iyan vibe is a evolving cultural concept with a gastronomic value. i grew up in Ado-Ekiti to understand that owanbe parties happens on saturday nights later saturday afternoon/evening and Ado-Ekiti been the capital of Ekiti-State the christian population dominates so sunday mornings are always 80 percent of church activities so you scarcely find a buka where food is sold...... this informed some set of people as the scarcity of food on sunday mornings continued, the cache to my observation with the people that came for the owambes were majorly not living here, even the other part guests living here will be kinda tired to want to cook on sunday mornings, but i trust some houses will still do. this write up makes me remember the smell of Rice chicken and dodo, listening to some old jams in my grandpa's house after church.
