THE OTUNBA AYODELE OLUMOKO I KNOW, PART 1

Image
"Otunba of the world" I fondly call this focused, strategic, brilliant and down to earth man.  Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN) needs the replica of how he completely reorganized Southwest FTAN - one that comes fully loaded with action to chat a great vision for the Federation making sure the younger generation stakeholders are given a chance to be involved. I'm not surprised anyway as he has over the years successfully handled Osun Oshogbo festival, ojude oba festival in Ijebu, olojo festival in ile-ife and many more across Nigeria. My first encounter with him was via the current SSA to tourism development in Ekiti-State (Amb. Wale Ojo Lanre) when the FTAN in Ekiti was to be birth after orientating the EXCO why the umbrella body of art, culture and tourism sector in Nigeria needs a direction, I fell in love with his ideals. He's a listener, a role model, a father figure, i'm in full support of your candidature, your capacity has what it takes t...

35 Tourists And Hikers From Across Nigeria Had Awesome Experience As They Toured Around Ikogosi and Ipole-Iloro Ekiti.

Image
Over two dozen staff from south west zone of the  Union Bank Nigeria toured around Ikogosi and  Ipole-Iloro Ekiti on 11th ,12th & 13th of December, 2020 for their annual team bonding/vacation. It was a great experience as other tourists and hikers from accross Nigeria joined the hike to the site of the first airplane crash site in Africa located in Ikogosi-Ekiti, a town in Ekiti State. The one hour hike from the Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort will never be termed an hyperbole as it was soul feeding; leaving the energized tourists as victims of palpable excitement and renewed commitment to humanity. This was evident in the clamour and observance of a  minute silence for the selfless pilot and soldiers who choose to rather crash in a thick forest than cause the extinction of a whole village. In addition, prayers were said for the souls of the casualties.  Mr. Adefemi Oluwatobi Oje, the tour guide, recounted the historic accounts passed onby Late Chief Ruf...

PaintBalling

Image
What is PaintBall? Paintball is a competitive team shooting sport in which players eliminate opponents from play by hitting them with spherical dye-filled gelatin capsules ("paintballs") that break upon impact. Paintballs are usually shot using a low-energy air weapon called a paintball marker that is powered by compressed air (nitrogen) or carbon dioxide and was originally designed for remotely marking trees and cattle. Why PaintBall? 1. Adventure and Adrenaline Ever since we first played paintball we've loved the adrenaline and adventure it provides. Running through the woods, hiding behind inflatable bunkers, shooting opponents and getting shot just doesn't get old. When the countdown is on before the break or as we first take off once the game begins, there is still the tingle of anticipation that goes down my neck. That feeling will never get old. 2. Teamwork and Strategy We kind of fudged on this because teamwork and strategy don't have to go to...
